A two-week meeting of an Antarctic marine resources commission has adopted new rules to protect Antarctic krill, which form the foundation of the Southern Ocean ecosystem, and has directed members to close ports to pirate fishing vessels known to be illegally harvesting Chilean Sea Bass.
